I got new tires yesterday. Finally found some I could afford.
Anyway, I asked the guy what they did with the old tires. He said some guy picks them up and disposes of them.
What's dispose of them mean? He had no idea.

I stacked a bunch up and filled them with dirt to make a berm for my pistol range.

DeleteThere are plenty of uses for old tires that prevent them from cluttering up land fills. Unfortunately these uses generally incur costs so people just dump them instead of repurposing them. Grinding them up to us as road base and to improve asphalt is one use.
