I just talked to my brother in Ralls, Texas at noon his time and his weather app on his phone said it was 96°F. Ralls is in northern Texas east of Lubbock about 20 or so miles.
Yesterday here in Madera Calif. at my house my phone says it got to 108°F. At 10:30 last night here it was 90°F.
Yesterday afternoon I don't think the airconditioner in my house shut off running one single time.
Yup. It's hot. It got to 103* where I live in the Wild West this weekend. Still though, so far, This July's average high here I live is 2* lower than last year's...
ReplyDeleteI don't know what our average is, but it seems hotter than normal to me. When it's like this I stay inside.
DeleteI live in the northwest. Thinking about turning on the heat.
ReplyDeleteCome down here and you will be plenty warm!!
DeleteIt got up to about 78 and a cool breeze blowing...
ReplyDeleteRub it in, why doncha?
DeleteI grew up north east of Idalou. Next town to the west of Ralls. I'm in south Texas now. It's been over a 100 every day since about mid April. We hit a 100 once in March. Unrelenting. I hear you brother. I hear you.
ReplyDeleteAnd no end to the heat in sight.
