I call pure bullshit on this one.
The site says it has 3 to 6 hours runtime, depending on the load. Then it can be charged in under 8 hours.
Jesus H. Christ, are these effing people for real?
Who??? is going to buy this?
I mean, a fossil fuel driven tractor will have to be pulled out of the garage while this thing is charging to FINISH whatever job this piece of electricity was able to get started.
Green energy my ass.
heh, since when has a farmer ever worked less than 6 hours a day? more like 3x that.
ReplyDeleteExactly right. When I was a kid I remember my dad stripping cotton on Christmas Day and me helping him.
DeleteUltimate green energy farming, use draft animals. An electric tractor. What a joke. Sunrise to sundown, with a short lunch break is reality much of the time when you farm.
ReplyDelete100% accurate
DeleteThis "save the planet go green" crap is coming from the same neurotic nitwits that tell us a man can have babies.
ReplyDeleteYep. It is time to shut all those people up.
Delete"...great for hobby farms, golf courses, sport fields, equestrian centers and municipalities." Honestly; if all you need is this much tractor, stick with the little John Deere 3-cylinder diesel. The amount of "greenhouse gas" emitted will be damned near nothing for that amount of run time, and 30 years from now that tractor will still be running. This e25 will be rusting away somewhere, its batteries toast, with no replacements available.
ReplyDeleteExactly right.
